When you first heard about "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter," you probably thought it was a spoof. Alas, it's the real deal: the history/horror flick opens nationwide today.

"The way I see it, whatever else it is, it's a huge summer movie that is, for a change, not a sequel, a prequel, a reboot, a remake, based on a toy, a video game, or a board game," author, screenwriter and producer Seth Grahame-Smith told CBS. "And that's where I come in and make my case of, like, 'Hey, let's do something strange. Let's do something offbeat, a little daring. Let's get back to doing cool genre films.'"

So far, however, the film only has a 36 percent rating on RottenTomatoes.com. "Don't let the stupid title dissuade you from seeing 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.' Let the stupid plot, the stupid history, the stupid action scenes, the stupid trivializing of slavery," gripes the The New York Post. However, The Washington Post calls it, "Both terribly silly and a lot of fun."

We have to say: This one sounds just weird enough to be somewhat interesting. From "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" to "The Twilight Saga," click through our slideshow and let us know: What's the best vampire movie?

Another annoying poll with no "other" choice, and limited original choices.

I wasn't aware those were the only vampire movies ever. Good job again Sodahead...
Anyway, for me it's a tie between the Underworld series and the Blade trilogy.

Wow, it's kind of sad that I had to vote for Underworld. The others are just that bad.

Now I love Buffy the TV show, but the movie was terrible.

I know...Plus I watched that Ed Wood movie which was somewhat about his life and he genuinely seemed to be a pretty gloomy person which justifies his passionate acting.

Although I did see "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" today and it was pretty good for a cheesy-ish vampire movie. "Interview With The Vampire" is the best vampire movie of all time hands down.

I think Blade was the best (out of this genre). I did see Lincoln and found it to unique, to say the least. It could have almost stood alone as a biography on Lincoln, but for the swinging axe and vampires. Very weird movie.

I am seriously disappointed that The Lost Boys did not make this list! Underworld is very great for its movies and even the 4th of the Underworld movies was great, but in my opinion The Lost Boys takes most of it, and Bram Stoker's Dracula is the best.

Neil Jordan's adaptation of the Anne Rice novel is a stylish rendering of her vampire world. Out of the listed movies, it is the best. But the best vampire, or the best Dracula, is: Bela Lugosi Dracula
