A Song some Radio Stations are Banning - Please keep this Song going!

The song you are about to listen to is from a Las
Vegas Diamond Rio concert. They received an immediate, resounding
standing ovation, and continue to do so every time they perform
it! Sadly, major radio stations wouldn't play it because
it was considered "politically incorrect." Consequently, the song
was never released to the public.
So, America , see what you think.. If this offering peaks to your
heart and you feel you want to share it with friends and loved ones, please do.

THIS IS GREAT -PLEASE LISTEN TO IT AND THEN PLEASE
KEEP IT GOING!!!!
You!

There is no evidence this song was "suppressed" or "banned". If people have enough time to forward all those messages, then they have time to do a quick search to see if it's real or fake. Use www.snopes.com www.thatsnonsense.com or www.hoax-slayer.com before reposting please! I bet it's a publicity stunt by the band to get a not-so-popular song some visibility :-)

    That was a hoax.

So no... please don't keep it going.

The Dixie Chicks however were banned from being played on country stations across the country for criticizing President Bush in the run up to the Iraq war. The conservative radio conglomerate Clear Channel Communications took part in the ban, they own over 1200 stations.

This song was #1 on the country charts when it was banned.

Can you prove that people are banning this song?

Wow. America is going downhill if they're banning this.

I seriously doubt they're banning it. I'd have to see something in the way of PROOF before drawing that conclusion.

Well, assuming the maker of this poll is correct.

Maybe radio stations just didn't play it because it sucked.

I'll preface it by saying no, I'm not much of a country fan. But I don't think this is a good song, regardless of its genre. It has a weak melodic hook, disjointed bridges and choruses and idiotic lyrics.

Could you explain what you meant by that? You are using some terms that I am not familiar with.

Doubt I can make it simpler. I just think the song doesn't flow seamlessly. It's clunky, overly sentimental and tries to browbeat the listener into sharing its arch-Christian philosophy.

Oh okay. I like Christian music myself but I like it to be good so I guess I understand what you are saying.

I like classic country... I think most newer country sucks though. I totally agree with what you have to say about the it.

actually that's exactly what happened. That and the fact that it wasn't a single and there were quite a few songs that were similar being played at the time.
