    He didn't die from playing 40 hours straight, he died from not eating or drinking. I've put in more time gaming myself but I alway make sure I eat drink and stretch.

    Maybe not Modern Warfare. I like the Final Fantasy's a lot because I like to play with the different characters. Plus its like a movie, I want to watch it again.

    Video games are addictive for those who already prone to addiction. That and the reward center of the brain really does love seeing that increased score for performing the games functions properly. Those who find gambling addictive would find video games addictive.

    I play CoD more for campaign and spec ops/zombies more than multiplayer. Multiplayer just turns me into a raging machine. However, I've prestiged 7 times in Black Ops, lol

    Ok let me clarify this answer. I'm a huge gamer, and yes I think it's easy to become addicted to a game, especially if it's a damn good game. That is why I do take "breaks" from gaming at weeks or months at a time.

    my answer is in treality a total lie. i am in fact addicted to black ops and damn near any other game i can get my hnds on. i simply play becaause i enjoy it. i have an addiction i admit it and i honestly dont care

    People who get addicted to video games needs to get medical help, IF they are really addicted to it. Most people could stop whenever they want. I love video games but I'm not addicted to it. I have other things to do. People who usually get addicted don't have nothing else to do in their lives.

    I think some people are more vulnerable to addiction than others, i would never play a game for 40 hrs straight, partly because i would be afraid of burning up my PS3, but i know from experience that some video games could be referred to as digital crack!

    I once played the old Star Trek game in 1986 (just words no graphics)for 24 hours non stop. Today the longest I have played a video game is 14 hours, but I can stop anytime I want. Boy does my mouse finger hurt.

    i play video games all the time but when i feel im tired or getting kinda bored i know it is time to quit. but usually i dont get bored beings i have a ps3 and an xbox 360 with about 75 games between the 2 systems.
