OUYA doesn't yet exist on the market, which means you can't test the platform, but that hasn't kept nearly 12,000 backers -- including yours truly -- from pledging $1,438,262 to this project. In fact, if you enjoy seeing dollars increment, just refresh the Kickstarter page, as pledges roll in by the second. Do you think the whole idea is crazy -- or will the video game console be that good?

Could See It

Wait till 2013 when PS4 comes out, will probably run ya 600 bucks but it will do anything and everything.
PS has had a bad rap when it shouldn't, the machine is amazing.
Being the only one that can play BluRay games and movies? Having the most powerful CPU? Having free online play vs. having to pay with xbox.
To me it seems like there is a lot more Pros about Playstation than any of the other consoles. The only people that I've seen that really don't like it are PC gamers, but they hate all consoles.
But if you ask your typical apple buying, beer drinking, sports watching, "i dont think past my finger tips" American..... they will go with Xbox or IPad.
It's sad to see such a great machine be eclipsed by simple games and small minds.
Also, i don't know how big your view of the world is but if you watch Sony's stock you'd understand my frustration. Their marketing director is doing a horrible job. Sony's is known to suffocate it's artists and have a cut throat business ethic.
Sony is great in the eyes of hardcore gamers and long time fans.
The new xbox (sigh) is going to be bad ass.
It's pretty much the PlayStation 3 with virtual reality glasses, tuned up Kinets - to fit 4, cable TV, and all the luxuries of you computer.
Lots of potential here, just might be the kick in the pants to get an open source gaming industry started!
