I'm suprised that San Fransico tolerates such a sport that encourages competition and allows only one winner, and salaries are not all equal, and some sit on the bench while others get to play all the time, and the cheerleaders are all women, and women dont get to play, and theres phsycal contact, and players cant or choose not to be opently gay, etc....etc....etc...

Great college coach, no NFL head coaching experience, another Pete Carroll who was terrible his first 2 stints as NFL head coach. SF needs a legit QB and Luck isn't coming out but the NFL West is sooo bad you can win with a losing record! Good Luck!

He's probably a much better Defensive Coordinator than a Head Coach. Can't resist telling you that we, New York Jets beat your Houston Texans on a last minute TD! LOL :)

Funny thing is I was leaving the stadium thinking we lost and saw the winning TD on the big screen TV in the Captain Morgan lounge on my way out....

Phillips served Denver well as a defensive coordinator.... Phillips is popular in Denver just cause hes a class act and gentleman. All that aside....he will do you proud as a coordinator.

If he somehow gets his boy Andrew Luck in the draft after next SF could become a real problem in the NFC in the coming years.
