‘24’ Movie To Begin Filming In Summer 2013 Would you Watch it?
The mega-popular series 24 hasn’t been on our TV screens
since 2010, which is far too long of a time if you ask me. There were
plans for a movie version of 24,
which we thought had all but collapsed, but now Kiefer Sutherland has
revealed that plans for the film are still very much alive. Speaking
with Crave Online, Sutherland said:
Timing… we didn’t have a script ready for that until very close to
the end of ‘Touch.’ We knew we were coming back so there was a very
finite window for me to make the film, to try to prep it, cast it and
all of those other things. It was just unrealistic for Fox to try and
make it, so they pushed it for next break.
Sutherland previously had spoken about the delays that Touch
might cause, but it’s always nice to know that he’s still thinking
about the fans. Also, being ‘pushed for the next break’ implies a start
to filming in summer 2013; good news for fans of the TV show.
We’ll keep you posted as this project comes to life, which will
undoubtedly gain some big-name appearances and a typically fast-paced
plot.
