    I didn't realize it was hard... don't they get special treatment from Acorn? And if it was hard is it because perhaps they don't make enough money...

    Gee, I guess only minorities are singled-out for not making enough money... Yep, never had that happen to me... The mean white person who is guilty of poisoning minority neighborhoods. LMAO!

    Actually, it's a plus if you happen to fall into some catagory considered a minority.....It's the caucasian poor that go to the proverbial back of the bus if they look to social, government programs to assistance them in just about anything....

    It does not matter anymore if you are a minority if you have the skill and the drive to get a good job, that is a dead argument that the left wing keeps telling you. The left would not even exist without the minority vote so it is in their best interest to convince you that you need them to succeed in life. I for one would try to figure out the real meaning of freedom and then compare how the lefts actions do nothing but take it away and keep the minorities in bondage...

    The groceries at big chain store cost more in minority neighborhoods. I went to a store in my are and than happened to shop once while at my frien's house (who's white) and the food was far cheaper.

    Your right but your not going to like the reason . It cost more to run a store in a minority neighborhood. There is much more loses due to shoplifting , vandalism, more security is needed ect.

    When I filled out all the tons of paperwork at the mortgage company I worked at I never saw the box to check race in. Someone would have to show me that they were being turned down because of their ethnicity. I quite simply do not believe that race was the deciding factor. Why would a bank turn down money. And make no mistake that is what they are doing if they turn down a mortgage.

    Credit score is what matters. You need some type of collateral or down payment these days. It has nothing to do with race. If you are a illegal immigrant, chances are you're not going to get a mortgage.

    oh bull crap. it is based off income and credit. No one ever asked my race. Asian, Eurasian and others are minorities too.
    The government uses this stuff to keep folks from thinking they can do things in life. don't let the government keep you down. No ones race keeps them down only self based on personal perception of self. Don't let anyone ever deminish that perception. Build it and reach your goals. set them high. screw those who try to say things like your a minority and it is harder for us. It isn't it is the same for us.

    It's tougher for everyone not minorities. It's tougher now to anyone that doesn't have a credit score over 700. In the time before the crash they were giving loans to those with a credit score in the 500's....that's a huge difference for most people.

    Minorities get paid lees as well as women, so that is why they make less. Many minorities are also passed up for jobs and promotions, (again many, not all).

    You just have to work hard just like everyone else.. Nobody promises that you are entitled to a house anyway... and we see what happened when the housing market took on all those loans that were done for people that just expected they deserved to have a house... They have all been foreclosed on.. Not that this is their fault all the way, but everyone needs to live within their means.

    Some will never own a house on credit many like me will have to save up the cash for a car and a house. Minorities make what they are willing to make same with women.. You can't blame the ESTABLISHMENT for your decision to settle for a lesser paying job. You have to have the gumption to go get a better job..

    I agree 86' and as for the underpaid women thing...I am a woman and I employ women all of the time..actually it's up to a woman to demand her own salary, if she's getting underpaid, then that's her fault. I've been in human resources for 8 years hiring for several different small businesses and large corporations and have never come across pay discrimination ...it's not the 20's anymore so stop making excuses for your skill-less-ness

    Exactly, my point. I have quit jobs that I found out the men were making more than the women... You can only be treated poorly if you allow yourself to be.. Some suffering may be incurred in the process but that is life. XD! I made it through just fine..

    Thank you for your service in the correctional facilities that is a very tough job.
    I did not mean to imply that you did not work hard... What my point was.. Is that if you feel that you do not make enough then you must have the gumption to take a chance and find something better.. Security and Freedom are too completely different things. People have been confusing this for far too long.
