Why can't they just except what they have?

Jerry November 07, 2009 04:01:56

Why can't the Gays except what they have but they want more as in gay marriage, they are lucky they don't get killed cause that's what they used to do to gay people. Marriage is for Men & Women together not Man & man or Women & Women. just keep it simple just be gay!

...that question makes no sense. The word you're looking for is "accept."

Also, they deserve equal rights. Your country claims to be a land of freedoms, but it's seriously lacking. At least here, we have equal civil rights, for ALL human beings.

Just be heterosexual. Just be bisexual. Just be homosexual. Screw marriage all together. People bitch and whine like it's something sacred, but it sure as hell isn't in America. Look at the divorce rate. Marriage? What a scam. All marriage is, is a change to social status and sharing of responsibilities. Gays can't share responsibilities?

Why should it be considered lucky for a human being to be allowed to live? That makes no sense to me.

    What? What is this?

"they are lucky they don't get killed"
  • Jerry masaca November 10, 2009 00:17:01
    Jerry
Yeah that's what I said cause that's what they used to do!

To begin with the human right to live has nothing to with luck.

Secondly........for you to entertain something that distasteful suggests that you have absolutely no problem with destroying anything that is different from. Lucky they don't get killed, because they used to?

Lastly........They stiil do get killed, and are a high risk group.....For you to overlook that little diddy shows that you are insensitive, and probably wish things were "Like the used to be."

I'm glad people don't get killed for being gay for your information! Why does everyone have to judge my opinion & be so hateful towards me thinking I'm being hateful cause I don't believe in gay marriage. I'm sorry but you people are the only ones being hateful towards me cause I don't believe the same way as you & that is my right! I'm not say to kill all gays I'm just saying do not legalize gay marriage cause it will never be right in my book!

Well......that wasn't hard now was it?

It was much simpler just to ximply say that rather than mentioning that they could be killed.........Dontcha think?

    Thank you for the clarification.

Isn't Divorce frowned on in the Bible...?

You should be happy with who you married and never get divorced!

Why can't you stay out of the personal lives of others?

Equal marriage rights for all -- accepting less is simply unAmerican.

stay personal lives equal marriage rights accepting simply unamerican

Dictating who should and should not be legally allowed to marry isn't interferring in other's personal lives? I can't think of anything MORE personal.

As for my judgement, I do believe you invite it with polls like this...
  • Jerry Epistem... November 10, 2009 00:50:05
    Jerry
NO I don't, people may not agree with me but they don't have to criticize me for my opinions & beliefs it's not cool & it actually really pisses me off. But of course I already know your reply "how do u think the gays feel cause they can't marry"
  • Epistem... Jerry November 10, 2009 01:10:21
    Epistemically Justified
So, you'd be fine if the government dictated to you who you could and could not marry? That wouldn't be seen as interferring in your personal life?

Don't assume my stance in an argument. It's not about how they feel, it's about equality.
  • Jerry Epistem... November 10, 2009 06:20:25
    Jerry
You see what you've got to understand is my rights ain't at stake & never were cause I'm happy to be straight & I can marry any women so therefore this does not include me. Those who are gay & don't have this right did it to themselves cause they choose to be gay it didn't just come to them. So they can fuss & feud all they want but they will never ever have that right!

That seems pretty ignorant to say. You seem to ignore evidence that supports it not being a choice. Although, that doesn't matter does it?
  • Epistem... Jerry November 10, 2009 12:34:59
    Epistemically Justified
What I said had nothing to do with your sexuality. My question was, if the government meddled in your marriage, that wouldn't be interferring in your personal life? You're sanctioning government interferrance in the lives of American citizens. Why? Because your religion says so? Because you think gays are weird, sinful or unnatural? Pathetic.

Claiming that rights are equal as long as the restrictions don't affect you is the height of ignorance.

And under what evidence to you say this?

Gay people hardly have equal rights. Haven't you been watching the news lately?

So, in your opinion marriage should only be between a man and a woman? Or am I missing something?

I've met some people who don't agree with gay marriage because they don't agree with marriage in general finding it unnecessary.

They can't accept what they yet do not have because of the limited intelligence of individuals who purposely shut them down, don't give a chance... because of their sexual orientation.

Sad but true... women still don't get equal pay for equal work. Blacks don't, Native Americans... I won't even go there. Pin-headed people who fear difference are the reasons why various groups want more... because they still don't have.
