Killer Mosquito Laser Gun: Are Mosquitoes or Bees worse?

A new laser gun has been created by some crazy developers that can kill millions of mosquitoes in minutes! This new mosquito laser gun has been deemed a "weapon of mosquito destruction" and knows when to fire by detecting a certain audio frequency. When mosquitoes fly, their wings flap at a certain frequency that can be detected by machine, which signals to the laser gun to fire a laser beam, burning the pesky pest. The mosquito gun was actually an original attempt during the Cold War of astrophysicists to create something that would stop malaria. It was part of the "Star Wars" anti missile program. =)

Which do you hate more: Mosquitoes or Bees?

    This laser has FAR bigger fish to fry then a few red welts. To put it into terms Americans in particular can understand, Malaria is as bad as 333-1000 September 11th attacks EVERY YEAR.

    yes but if we kill them off what will spiders eat? and then what will snakes and things that eat spiders eat? and what will birds and owls and eagles that eat snakes and things that eat spiders eat? have you not heard of a food chain? one thing dies many fall it and the ones that dont compete over waht there is to eat animals cant just got to a grocery store...

    Chances are, flies will become more successful, and they will eat them. Natures actually pretty robust in this sense. Or, more pertinently, they will eat those mosquitoes beyond the range of the laser.

    Unlikely on the scale were talking about. All in all, the number of Mosquito's that would be killed is relatively small. There not going to be able to sweep the continent. And that's not even including the animals capable of filling the niche Mosquito's fill. Biologists seem to believe that it wouldn't be a problem. For the millions of lives saved, I think its worth looking into, don't you?

    i hate mosquitos! everytime i step outside when mosquitos are out i get like 5 new bite everytime! even if its just takin the trash out. im a mosquito magnet! and the star wars laser mosquito gun seems cool.

    Hey pretty cool idea..Mosquitos R technically worse than bees..Yes, both can be equally annoying..But those little Mos also carry disease, in addition to giving us ichy welts.. Bees do give us honey..of which, alot of us like to eat and use as a sexual aid enhancer..Dont we all just love it when
    we dizzle it over each other, during the 'throws of ecstacy' & then lick the stuff off each other..Even throw Horseflies, wasps, hornets, gnats, & chiggers ahead of bees..They dont make honey..I dont think...Now, can we make a laser blaster for 'A-hole' drivers in traffic & jerky people at work?
    That would be nice..To be able to 'zap' your idiot boss..for being a complete moron...Lets work on that people..Oh, as

    mosquitos are annoying and are much more abundant than bees. i've only ever seen a couple of bees in my life. i admit, the buzzing and the way they fly creep me out. i'm not a fan of insects.

    I was once stung in the hip, so I think I can honestly say that bees are worse than mosquitos. Hornets are a type of bee, but you could say they're worse than bees. stung hip honestly bees mosquitos hornets type bee bees

    I hate mosquitoes!!! Bee stings go away and i can handle the pain for a little while but mosquitoe bits ich and i scrach the bit so much that it tears up my skin!!

    we need the bees, they pollinate our plants and crops.Mosquitoes feed bats, bats make guano, quano fertilizes crops so the bees have something to do. It is a vicious circle.

    Mosquitos and bees are equal. Both are super anoying and can kill you, but i would pick mosquitos because I f***ing hate those things. Like when they buzz like right in your ear.

    As everyone else has said, mosquitoes carry far too many diseases. I try not to even go outside when they are about anymore, due to the number of West Nile cases in my area every year. The stuff meant to repel the things, doesn't work on me for some reason...it attacts them instead.

    Also as most everyone has said, we need the bees for pollination...and of course for honey. About 80% of plants are pollinated by mainly insects. Without the bees, we wouldn't have much to eat in the way of fruit and vegetables.

    Yes, some people are allergic to the stings. My uncle is highly allergic to them, even an ant bite can put him in the hospital. That's why they make epipens!
