German Sex Industry Suffers: Are German brothels being treated like amusement parks?

La Saria April 23, 2009 19:06:58

This is it! The global economic crisis has affected every industry and profession in the world, even Germany's oldest profession: Prostitution. Germany is one of the fewest countries in the world when prostitution is legal, but now, the demand for sex services has fallen by a huge percentage of 50%. Some German Brothels offer rebates, specials, and discounts - check out some of their popular specials:

- Most German brothels now offer "day passes", have fun all day
- Senior citizens discounts
- Free shuttle bosses or taxi transportation
- 30% off specials
- Buy one get one free
- Berlin's Pussy Club offers 70-euro admission charge for unlimited food, drink and sex between 10am and 4pm.
- Prices start at 30 euros. ($40USD)

In Germany, there are over 400,000 professional prostitutes. Due to the economic crisis, these specials and more are being offered so prostitutes and brothels stay in business. Geez, these specials remind me of Six Flags amusement park. I've heard Six Flags is offering $60 "Season Passes" to visit all year long. I wouldn't be surprised if German brothels offer this special soon.

I don't quite know how to answer this one but would like to know what's wrong with society with this nonsense and gabage going on? Most men take up golf or tennis. All I can say is What Filth! The men should get one of those wind up things if they are that screwed up! How much money do the wives get to secure the budget? I've not been yet to Ger. but had hoped to see where Hitler did all of his Obama things.

The brothel, sex magazine shopes, etc. sits rather uncomfortably in the Germen business landscape. The German mind can see the existance of the sex business, but cannot see the need for it. The more of this you have the less each sale shall carry. It works in a sort of discount that is not figured in whenn the price was first announced.

A service sector business will generally cut the prices on those services to generate revenue...how in the hell that's applicable to a brothel is still a boner...er, question.

ITS a greasy, slimy world out there. Girls of the night will always be around .Churches have LOW attendence in Europe. REAL "manufacturing" has been outsourced to Asian countries, so the SERVICE sector grows, sadly.

Everybody wants their free or discounted lap dance. But then again, the whores themselves are probably just trying to make enough money to support a family doing what they do best.

Prostitution is a business, and as such, must do what it can to survive. The idea of 400,000 people unemployed, or on starvation wages, is too horrible to contemplate.

I suppose it would be a big problem with people pretending they are handicapped and in a wheelchair to get to the front of the line.

I took my family for vacation on a Caribbean Cruise in 2006,and I had a real incident like that happen. My youngest son and I were waiting in line for our turn to be seated for dinner and where we were standing was right beside the elevator. An family got off the elevator one older woman ,a young attractive one and an older gentleman in a wheelchair. My son and I were originally at the front of the line but they rolled him in front of us.After doing that they saw where the real line was and how far it extended behind us,and they were about to try to wrestle his chair around to go to the rear of the line and I insisted that they stay right where they were.I could hear some unhappy grumbling and murmurs behind me and I said in a voice loud enough for the murmurers to hear,"You stay right there! If anyone has a problem with you being there, they can take it up with me!"A few minutes later the doors opened and everyone was happily seated for dinner.,but I didn't get to enjoy my dinner because my son became ill,and I had to help him get back to our room.Such is life ,eh? :)

I would do the same thing. Maybe if those grumbling hand to spend the rest of their life in a wheel chair they will finally see the prick they really are. Good for you for showing humility, compassion, and proving to the rest of the world that evil only controls the weak minded.

Thanks, Rush.Ilike the television commercials where the young guy gives up his seat on the bus to the elderly woman, and I'd like to think that there are many more people who feel like we do about showing respect and compassion to others. It doesn't cost a thing and it does make you feel better about yourself.Just talking about it now brought back the warm glow that I felt then.We can make the world a better place by each of us doing a little thing when the opportunity presents itself. That's what makes us Americans the best people on this planet!.
