Chapter one I have been dying for thirteen years. I counted. ever since I was pushed out my mother's womb. Ever since I took my first breath. I have benn dying... but it is only clear to me now. while the pain is rippling through my soul. as I wait in that court room... * * * * I would miss the trees. the woods, the crisp air. the way the sun looked, when it shined through the croocked windows, built, with good intentions for life two hundred years ago.the way the house sat, right between two walls of trees, right before the short dirt road, that was suppositidly a drive way. I would miss my three best friends. Santania, she was tall, with flaming red hair. not the frizzly red curls most people had, it was smoothe, as straight as it could be. I was jealous. she was always really funny, with that slow southern draw, espically when she was mad, "it went all out of whack". as my friend Edit, said. She was a short really pretty hispanic girl, with waves of long dark hair,shiney, almost like a raven s' wing. She was calm, except around her family. I always felt that we could relate. Calm like ocean waves at low tide. I don't know why, but she always reminded me of water. Of corse, I would miss laken, the funny, wild, crazy, air head cheerleader, we all knew and loved. she was always considerate. Once, I felt really bad. I called her crying, she made me a website, and it made me feel better.sure, she acted dumb, like her blond self, but she was actually really smart.I would reallly miss her. The one thing I would not miss, was the fighting, screaming, slaping, and the brusies. All with the overwhelming depression, anxiety, stress, and pain, that came with it. So, to escape all this, I would be moving in with my dad. This will be a good thing, I hope...
