Palin Misquotes Albright
She misquoted Madeleine Albright. The true quote is.....
"There's a place in Hell reserved for women who don't help other women."
Albright's comment on the misquotation....
"Though I am flattered that Governor Palin has chosen to cite me as a source of wisdom, what I said had nothing to do with politics. This is yet another example of McCain and Palin distorting the truth, and all the more reason to remember that this campaign is not about gender, it is about which candidate has an agenda that will improve the lives of all Americans, including women. The truth is, if you care about the status of women in our society and in our troubled economy, the best choice by far is Obama-Biden."

raves +3 Oct 06, 2008 11:38PM GMTThere are people like my mom who believe she's a good Christian woman and will do a good job. I try to convince her that she's not by telling her the things I've found out about this woman and she tells me that she wants to hear them for herself. I can't convince her and it really bothers me that she's blindly following McCain/Palin.

raves +3 Oct 06, 2008 11:41PM GMT (edited)The first thing I would ask her Boiler, "Are you just listening to Fox News?" Then, I would definitely get her to watch an equal segment of Olberman and/or Maddow.
If they don't give her "added information," I think I would save my breath! LOL -

We Can't Save Them All-lol!
Cheer up-I have the exact same problem with my Mom, her Church endorses McCain/Palin so that is as good as God telling her personally!
I just tell her so much for separation of Church and State, and tell her I am going to report her Church so they lose their tax exemption status-lol! -
raves +2 Oct 07, 2008 01:27AM GMTHi Luc,
Good one. The church is very "inventive" on how they endorse. I don't even know how my own pastor votes and that is the way its supposed to be. I know he loves my bumper stickers so I can rather guess, but most main line churches stay out of or SHOULD keep their opinions out of the pulpit. I keep my faith in church and I expect him to keep his opinions to himself. Fair enough? -

You sound like you have a wonderful Church and that is the kind of respect I appreciate in my Church. You are wonderful!
Hugs and have a great night! -

raves +4 Oct 06, 2008 09:40PM GMTI'm afraid Prue, we better button down the hatches, the little twit is on a roll.

I am confused though as to IF it is McCain and his campaign who is destroying her reputation for the sake of the Republican Party, or is it that She is really this dense and gullible?!
Either way, I am noticing a whole lot of resemblance between HER, the SH women, Republican women and even some drooling men out there supporting her and thinking she is the "greatest thing" to ever come along for the Republican ticket and we all KNOW they are NOT voting for her because she is Qualified, or is Ready on Day One, or would Ever make a Great President for Our Country!
