Jesus: The Only Certainty!
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God! The same was in the beginning with God!" (John 1:1, KJV) The "Logos" (Greek) in this verse refers to Jesus and only to Jesus...Jesus is the The Creator! Jesus is the second Member of the Trinity!
This world is filled with ideas and beliefs, but sadly every idea that does not agree with the Truth of Scripture has been or will be refuted.
Today there are two great bodies of thought that explains the spirit world: Christianity (i.e. Jesus Christ Alone is LORD & Master) and religion. We can trust The Bible! It has never been and never will be wrong!
The rule of law in the United States of America (as well as in the civilized world) is a Judeo-Christian concept.
One may choose against Christianity as the heartbeat of a nation, but one cannot do so without the loss of protection that Christianity alone provides.
Atheism is an insane belief/non-belief system, because as Dr. Ravi Zacharias so eloquently puts it, "To affirm the negative has no basis on which to affirm. To affirm an absolute negative is to assert absolute knowledge which is impossible for a human being."

You claim that God is self evident, and that all who don't believe are fools. You certainly aren't going to win any converts to christianity with your hostility and disrespect. I am sure this doesn't matter to you anyway, as you seem more interested in showing your pride in your beliefs than anything else. Hmmmm..... isn't pride a sin?

raves +3 Sep 18, 2008 09:20PM GMTIt has always amazed me how people (who don't believe the LORD Jesus the way I do) still have a very definitive concept of how I should live out my belief, if I want to be considered a "good Christian."
My job description does not include "winning converts to Christianity." My job description is wrapped up in the concept of faithfully preaching the Truth of God's Word in obedience to the LORD Jesus' unequivocal command to do so...
Besides, I couldn't save anybody if I tried! That's the LORD's responsibility through the ministry of His Holy Spirit! The more an individual rejects the conviction of the Holy Spirit every time a faithful minister, like me, preaches the Word of God, the less likely that individual will ever be saved...
All you funny "ites", Ben, are so able to point out your definition of Pride in true Christians, but are consistently unable to see the same or higher levels of Pride in your own hearts. :}
Your final warning from me before I exact another Mercy-Block...is...this. Please consider trusting the LORD Jesus as your personal Savior because if you do not humble yourself now before the LORDship of Christ, one day you will be forced to your knees to confess that "Jesus Christ is LORD!" :] -

I knew that God cannot lie, so if He said it, it must be true. I prayed on that and meditated on that for years. I couldn't figure out how that would come to pass. He said "every". so that included everybody that has ever been born. What did this mean? People who have already died will have to kneel and bend too. Finally, the other night, God revealed how to me. At the great judgement seat, everyone whose name is not written in the Lamb's Book of Life will stand before God and willingly bow and confess that Jesus is Lord because they will want forgiveness and entrance into Heaven. But sadly, it will be denied them because salvation is decided while we are alive. It is final. After death it is too late. God is true and His Word is final. He cannot break His Covenants and He will have no choice but to send the sinner away, into hell. This probably sounds like a no-brainer to you but it troubled me for years. I thought that somehow God would break the knees of sinners during the tribulation and force them to confess. But, that is not the character of God. He does not force anyone to do anything against their will, and then I remembered about the dead and God said "everyone". I went round and round with this. Three days ago, God revealed this to me. Thank you, Father! Now I will move on to other mysteries. Praise God! Thanks, WinBro for giving me a voice on your blog.
