We need to remember

If we all can remember those couple of days...the shock, the fear, the sadness....if we can all remember how this nation bonded! We stood as one nation under God! Patriotism was no longer in the past...it was no longer a forgotten word in the history books that people didn't get or understand. We all had one goal and that was to not let this enemy threaten our land...our kids...our families...our friends....our fellowman! We all had one goal....we were not divided by the left or the right...Democrats or Republicans....Christian or non-Christian....Black or White.....Rich or Poor....we were united! We stood together as a nation and we made a stand and we were heard!



Some where we have forgotten those days that came after that tragic day in our history....We forgot how it felt to be UNITED...ONE NATION UNDER GOD...we forgot how important Liberty and Justice for ALL ment! Somewhere we lost site of the meaning of it all and went to our opposite corners of notions and ideas....we forgot when things got off track to pull together as one and Stand Up on the same side....instead of fighting the enemy....we once again are fighting each other and why?



We need to remember...not only that September 11th....but the following days and weeks that came after that....! Remember what that felt like? The days when our differences didn't matter because we had something much, much more at stake?
