KayR is the one who is racist. She rants all over Soda Head. She hates everyone who does not agree with her point of view. This woman needs serious professional mental help now.

I don't think she's being hateful, per se. Just adamant and aggressive. Two traits that I do appreciate, in all fairness.

My question is why accept ownership of the atrocities of our ancestors? I live here and now. My ancestors weren't slave owners. I'm certainly not a racist by anybody's definition. Why do I have to be prejudicially condemned simply because of MY skin color? To me, that's racism.

The ownership I'm referring to is that of Kay and her ilk, carrying the burden of anger for the wrongs of things beyond our control. All the while, not seeing the opportunities to move past this here and now. Like I said, my ancestors didn't own slaves. Even if they did, can I be charged with the sins of the father?

I agree!! The only way to move forward is to teach our children NOT to behave that way! She keeps dragging the past int o our future,,,I totally understand learning about it, etc..it was awful..for many people, not just black people....but we need to teach that we dont keep behaving that way...and she cant see that

If you don't like what I have to say, that's OK. If I don't agree with you, That's OK too. But, not being able to talk openly and truthfully to another SH that's not OK.We are brave and honest people, and we don't like cowards.

I honestly was not disrepectful to her...but oh well....

You know with some people you don't need to be disrespectful. They are just hoping that you would be. Then If you disappoint them by being honest with them, they try to hurt you by just saying you were disrespectful. Don't gave them what they want by being hurt. But them again, only a good person would feel the way that you do about this. keep up the good work BonBon.
