Greetings,
DIVISION DIVISION DIVISION,
True, i am voting for the Democratic Candidate this year.
However, I don't label it, voting Democratic.
This is how (THEY) want us to think.
(THEY) insist we choose between D or R before we vote.
Then the media reports your side and my side....Listen,Process, Look at your values, your family, your surroundings...those things closest to you...Then make a decision.
Don't let (THEM) define us........Peace and Love
Why I am voting democrat
I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.
I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.
I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.
I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe that business's should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed
elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don't have to hide from us over there, when they come over here I don't want to have any guns in the house to fight them off with.
I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry
whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.
I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isnt.

Linclon) instead of having four more years of "government of the special interests, by the lobbyists, and for the rich and privileged".

But since you are, that's a nice philosophy for voting but what it boils down to is if you vote "D" and win your guy will be Barak Obama. Have you considered this guy? In campaign mode he sounds palatable enough to a dem who goes for class warfare, increased taxes and further govt intrusions, but look at his past, how he would govern. He has a past strewn with radicals who hate (h-a-t-e) this country from Rev. Wright to Bill Ayers. The guy gets a hard on from the likes of Fidel Castro and Che Gueverra!
Who doesn't want a govt of and by and for but you may not get it with either of these guys but you certainly will NOT get it from Obama. The guy is hard wired from his youth for something more socialist like, "to everyone according to need, from according to their ability". Do yourself a favor, read up on Barak Obama. Campaign speeches are only to get your vote. Be careful what you ask for 4 years of. -

"...You could be a redneck!" It would be hilarious. How 'bout this one:
If you're dressed up in a tuxedo, at the altar, getting married and you have a tire gauge in your back pocket...you could be a liberal! -
raves +7 Aug 11, 2008 07:47PM GMTIf you're standing at the Alter, getting married to your horse, and instead of a ring you pull out the "Official Obama Tire guage"... You might be a liberal...

raves +3 posted Aug 10, 2008 10:32PM GMT (edited)I'm voting Democrat because Democratic ideology is clearly superior to Republican ideology.
I'm going with what works.
Let's just look at our two most recent administations.
Bill Clinton left us with a strong economy, a history of balanced budgets, and with allies who actually liked us.
All that changed under GW (Dumbass) Bush and his administation dominated by Republican ideology.
Just look at this lending/housing crisis. It was brought on by inadequate governmental regulations in the lending industry.
We all know how much Republicans HATE government regulation.
Thank you so much, you idiotic Republican fools, for running our country into the ground.

raves +8 Aug 10, 2008 11:32PM GMTSorry, but the best thing Clinton did for the Economy was sign what Newt Gingrich's congress sent him. The welfare reform bill was sent to Clinton 3 times before democrat members cornered Clinton and had him sign it.
Pres. Bush took a stand for America when she was brutally attacked, Clinton was too busy doing what...to be bothered arresting Obama..Osama ...scuse me I get them mixed up. Someone told me the difference was a little bs. I'm no repub, since you want to know everything, and they should have been fired in 06 like they were, that opened the door for some real winners to come dragging in...the 9% Pelosi gang. That's Bush's fault too I'm sure. Yeah...nice try.

Second they were supposed to vote for the American people for an "all of the above" energy bill, instead went on a 5 week vacation!
Third went to Denver for the convention which took months to set up and the democrats took away the gas tax for themselves and let the common people keep paying it, of course Obama and other democrats said Hillary and McCain were wrong about a gas tax savings yet the savings was good for them!!
Forth come to find out that it was Bill Clinton that signed the stop drilling bill and the Freddie & Fannie bill to make it easier for low income people to get mortgages!
And last but certainly not least they had a committee Head of Barney Frank and other Democrats that stated Freddie and Fannie were find and no regulation was needed!!! He has served on the committee since becoming a congressman in 1981 and became the ranking Democrat on the committee in 2003. He became chairman of the committee, now called the House Financial Services Committee, in 2007. THE DEMOCRATS HAVE BEEN IN FULL CONTROL OF THE HOUSE AND SENATE FOR TWO YEARS, WE CAN NOT HAVE A DEMOCRAT PRESIDENT WITH THEM IN CONTROL!!!! IF YOU WOULD LIKE ANY LINKS TO ANY OF WHAT I POST JUST LET ME KNOW!
Obama like many Democrats, is relying on the general lack of understanding of how taxes work. They want you to think that they are taxing someone else. There is only one group of Americans that pay taxes, that is the individual tax payer. Yes, you can tax companies and corporations but they are not the ones who pay the taxes. The taxes are paid by the people who buy their products or use their services. If you raise taxes on businesses they have no choice but to add the cost into the prices of their products or services. If they do not they go out of business.
Now Obama the new obama plan; He called for a $3,000 tax credit for each additional full-time job a business creates. The tax break would end after 2010." So BIG DEAL. You get a one-year tax break of three grand or tax credit for every additional full-time job you create? So Obama is going to replace the market, but only for one year and then all of a sudden you don't get the tax credit after you've hired these people. For every full-time job? Doesn't say small business. For every full-time job a business creates. "Obama also is proposing letting people withdraw up to $10,000 from their retirement accounts without any penalty this year and next." Obama, do you know that there isn't much left in them? Obama, there's not a whole lot left in people's retirement accounts right now. But beyond that, Obama, do you know what your guys in the House are doing? George Miller is crafting legislation that would eliminate this tax break for a lot of people who deduct money from their pay to go into their 401(k). And then the last line, and get this. This is Christopher Wills at the Associated Press Obama. "The Obama campaign emphasizes that these ideas can be done quickly, either through executive order or legislation." The AP, a press release for the Obama campaign.
Please read how he voted not once but twice on this abortion bill, please read it.

Then talk about the people he wanted to be around, Wright, Ayers, Tony Rezko, ACORN? Talk about really bad judgment or after 20 some odd years listening to these people! Come on how can you vote for this man, not to mention he socialism ideas of sharing the wealth of this country!
