The Three Day Rule

Do people still follow the three day rule???  What is the appeal of the three day rule???  Is it just that it provides an easy to understand rule for when to call someone???  Or is it that it is the LA expectation??? I say call when you want to call.  Three days seem so crazy and arbitrary.

    Yeah weren't people talking about that Wednesday night or something? I vaguely remember. Did that guy ever call you?
