Dino Poll

My Dino poll is kind of driving me crazy. I would dare say that 80% of the people didn't read the description as to why I made the poll, and 15 out of the 20% can't be blamed for not reading it because I posted it after they voted.
I didn't make the damn thing because I believe Satan or God did anything, and I didn't post it to bash religion, or bash atheist either. I would dare say that I have been accused of bashing just about everything in this poll. It is quite amazing really. I didn't think it was possible.
I posted the poll because this is something that my grandfather believes. He thinks Satan put the bones in the earth to confuse us and to question God. I have spoken with a couple other people and they said they believed. I posted the question to see who else believes the same thing. I think I left the options for answer open enough for people to be able to give their point of view with out calling anybody names.
Geeze people, lighten up.

I also know nothing about dinosaur bones having anything to do with God or Satan and could care less, but I hope you find your answer or whatever it is your looking for here. I have to tell you I'm am quite disappointed though I thought this was going to be a poll about Dino from the Flintstones...

My experince has it that they are not so prejudice and extreme as the others tend to be (I worked at Christian company for a few years and it is possible I just happened to meet all the nuts)

I think they're a bit more fanatical here, but I wish you luck, most people easily turn into nutjobs over religion. Even some that are generally sane-ish ;o)

raves +1 Aug 01, 2008 06:15PM GMTLOL I do live in Utah, I have lived here my whole life so far. I used to think the LDS people were the worst, until I worked for that Christian company. My opinion did a 180 real fast.
For the last two years or so I have worked on the standard plans for new LDS churches for the US and Canada. LDS people are much better to work with in my opinion. I was never once discriminated against by any LDS Church employee the way I have been by people of other religions. -

I have a grandmother turning 96 in about a month. She has some ideas I find odd, but I consider her one of the wisest people I know. She has been around a while and hasn't lost any of her snap and wit. I thank the burier of dino bones (be it God, Satan or Druids) that I've been part of her experience.
