Obama is a Rock Star—Not

raves +9   by KARA
Is Barack Obama really a rock-star? I do not think so. I think that Barack Obama is nothing but hype. Obama is no more then a man with human tendencies. The media, Oprah, and the DNC elitists chose Obama. He was not elected to be the presumed nominee; he was selected.

I will not be voting for Barack Obama. He does not do it for me. I have discovered on numerous occasions that he lacks in experience and ethics. Obama has flip-flopped on issues, plagiarized his speeches, has poor judgment in friends, and has lied so much that he is not able to keep up with them himself. I am not one of his sheep. Neither John McCain nor Barack Obama enthuse me at this time. I just happen to believe that JM is better then BO. I just might not be voting at all in November. A lot can happen between now and then.

I am a Democrat but now I am ashamed to be one. The DNC has done no better then what happened in the 2000 Presidential election when the GOP manipulated it. Two wrongs do not make it right as far as I can see. The Democratic Party is no better then the Republican Party.

The media, DNC, and others have equated Barack Obama to President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Obama does have some similarities to President Kennedy; however, he will never be the man that JFK was...Barack Obama is no more then any one of us. He is only human. He is not the Rock Star that the media has presented him to be either.

By the way, the race between Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy was a close one. I hope that this election will not turn out to be one of the similarities of BO and JFK.—After all, history sometimes has a way of repeating itself.

Thank you Kara for the link it was very interesting, and I also do not have a candidate, If the Primary process was( had )been changed and not a long drawn out affair Clinton would have been the winner , we should all vote at the same time for nominee's or at least close to eachother "state"

LOL! He is a rock star Kara! He has reached that status.. you just don't like his act and would never go to his concerts. Hype has everything to do with status in this celebrity culture of ours. The media has helped him every step of the way. That's what they do when a rock star sells out stadium seats. Like him or not.. that is the reality of the situation. He sells tickets and people flock to his appearances. You may call them sheep and misguided but there are a whole lot of them who elevate him to celebrity. Most are not sheep.. they really believe in him. Of course he is not JFK or anything like him except that they both have charisma and a political machine backing them just as I stated on Poncho's poll. I see you covered all the bases there.

Hi CC. Good to see you. Great comment. I understand and agree with you. I got to thinking about the similarities and remembered how narrow the race was with Kennedy and Nixon. It is very interesting, isn't it?

Did my comment prompt that memory? Yeah, that Nixon/ Kennedy race was interesting wasn't it! Quite the horse race! wouldn't be surprised if we have the same outcome this cycle.

Nothing at all will surprise me about this race. I must prepare myself either way for the outcome.

Yes, Chief Cat..they have elevated him to celebrity but most of them do not know why.. or for what..maybe they arent sheep but they certainly are following the chants of the demagogue..the one that is so misguided into thinking that America wants socialism and marxism.. and they actually want us to have faith in someone that lies and flip flops and who ..along with his wife are racists.. that is not someone that is fit for the office of president. By the way it is time that the Obaminites know that we are not looking for a celebrity or rock star.. we are looking for a president.. Obama should not even be considered never mind a presumptive nominee
