Voltron's view of the world

I decided that since everyone is making blogs about their opinions on all the hot topics, I'm going to make my own and cover all of them so I only have to make one. In the words of Stephen Colbert: "You make the first one good enough, you don't have to write another".

The Presidential Election:
I havn't said it yet but I do have a favorite candidate. However, I'm not saying who it is because people will be jumping on me to join their group. I don't want to be in a group, and I don't want to bash the other candidate because quite frankly I think that we have two very good candidates this year and no matter how the election turns out our country will benefit either way. Besides, it's not like I can vote anyway.

The War in Iraq:
I believe that the war we are fighting in Iraq is absolutely necessary. And if you think that pulling our troops out of there is the best course of action, then you are:
1. A moron.
and
2. A coward.
Do you realize that if we bring our troops home then we LOSE this war? What kind of message will that send to the terrorists? Sure, there are thousands of U.S. Soldiers dead because of the war, but the reason they're over there is because they love their country and would die twice to defend it if they had to. And even worse: They are fighting for YOU, sitting at your computer, bitching about how horrible this war is. They're giving their lives so that you can continue to shit on them. That's what makes them true Americans. If you believe otherwise, you don't deserve to be a citizen of this country. Thank you.

Global Warming:
F*ck that.

The Current Music Scene:
Apparently the latest trend in music is Put On As Much Makeup As You Can And Hope People Like It (Tm). It seems today that recording artists are only in the industry for the money. "But wait Voltron, music is their passion and they would be happy to perform without pay!"
Bullshit.
If that was true, Snoop Doggy Dogg Shizzle would be giving all of his money to charity rather then spending it on crack. The real bands are the underground rock and metal bands that get paid little money whatsoever but they still perform because they love doing it. They are the ones with the talent. Not Hannah Montana. If you think that any "musical artist" that comes from Disney Channel actually has any talent, you truly have no grasp on how music works.

And finally: BEARS!
Perhaps the most controversial topic in our world today. They pillage our women, rape our homes, and raid our picnics while our backs are turned. There are some people in this world who dedicate their lives to destroying these beasts, but it's not nearly enough. That's why I am starting an Anti-Bear Group. Together, we can make the world a better and safer place for our children and our tuna sandwiches.
