Preps vs. Emos (The Controversy )
Why exactly do preps and emos dislike each other so strongly? They're both very popular sterotypes that seem to be at war with one another. I, myself would be classified as emo. So from my point of view, I dislike MOST preps because a majority are snobby, rich kids that think they're better than everyone else below them. Ironically, I made friends with a prep. Sure he's rich and spoiled BUT, he's a good person. So, really, why do we hate each other so much?

I have exactly one preppy friend so far and he's rich but he's not a douche bag. Most of us just know preps as the people that love to make fun of people below them.

Preps are scared of goths-any with black on- and have tried to tighten the goth wardrobe!

Preps think emos are trash who love to cut and kill themselves that are always depressed which makes preps better. but emos think all preps are snobby rich kids who think they are better then everyone. I am skater which I have both preppy and emo friends. The stereotype does not aply to all of them but each group does like to think so.
