Party Unity My Ass?
If you have read my past blogs, I have expressed my feelings about the divided democratic party and all of my concerns. I have made an impact on SOME, but that cast majority of past Hillary supporters are still holding on to the very slim chance that Hillary will be voted in to be the nominee. There are some things wrong with that.
#1 Campaining- They Convention in Devner is in late August. That means that she will only have 2 months to really campaign. Of course it would be really hard for McCain to really take shots at her if he wants her supporters. But Hillary did the same to Obama right? But what about the Obama supporters?
#2 It'll be WWIII if Hillary "Steals" the nomination afther the primaries are already over. Talk about angry suppoters? Hillary supporters will look like amatuers if that happens.
#3 Hillary HAS to pick Obama as her VP or McCain will win by a landslide. There is no way that Hillary can heal THOSE party wounds if she somehow gets the nomination in Denver.
#4 Sadily, Hillary actually has virtualy has no chance of get the nomination even if she really wanted it. But she isn't stupid she knows if she plays her cards right, she'll have a chance in 2012. And I know that her supporters will be waiting.
So Angie, this is directly to you. Hillary does not have a chance this time around. You're in good health right? Wait until 2012!

As a person who supported Clinton in my primary in Washington state last Feb. Get over it. She was not the nominee. Primary's are decided by delagates not popular vote. Had she been the nominee I would have really liked that, but she isn't. I and my family are voting Obama. period.

the hell with obama, america better wake up now, obama and his wife have not liked this country until now, right, they have a agenda, they want you and me to pay reparations for slavery that we had nothing to do with, his ties to rezko, ayers, his pastor(god damn america)obama's church for 20 years, but he didnt hear any of that, right, he dont have his senate records, why, he wont show a real birth certificate, why, he thinks americans are bitter, gun totting, church going, obama is not even for the poor african americans, country over party, elected over selected, Hillary for president for 2008 or john mccain08 go puma!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With regards to #3 really. Wow not the case that cross over vote that voted for him in the primaries, guess what they are slam doors in the faces of Obama supporters. They got what they wanted which is him and guess what they are not voting for him come Nov.
Don't ever say never when there is a chance. Not saying it will happen, but realize some of the delegates he received from Indiana might turn. She only needs 175 to turn. Could happen, but I do not believe it will. Obama is looking good, but behind the closed doors they are worried because the support they got in Red states that crossed over to keep again Hillary off the ticket are not voting for Obama. Tough situation my friend, be humble... -
You have a point...
-
No I have facts. Obama supporters are getting doors slammed in their faces by people who welcomed them during the primaries. Better suck up to those hillary supporters if we are going to have a chance at an election that should be won by a landslide.
-
and again, you have another point w/ facts...

Candyholic sucks because he is looking real good on this trip, but the reality is this will not be a cake walk. We are going to have to be humble with Hillary supporters and If you think Latinos don't matter better walk up because no one wins the biggest electoral states in the Union without Latino vote. I believe they haver surpassed blacks as the number minority in this country and Obama disenfranchised then during the primary and McCain has been working them big time. Just a heads up I am sure there will be those that spit in my face and then use race word at me, but the reality is what it is.
-
Your right, gonzo. Anyother democrat would have a double digit lead at this point. It maybe racial issues against him as well. No one can deny that they are those who just won't vote for a black man. But it is more than that. Most democrats are liberal minded and he is losing some of his base or rather failing to get Hillary's base. I just see it getting worse for him.
-
I don't know about double digit lead. Obama is still in the lead, but as they find more and more cross over vote that is slamming the doors on there horse from the spring run and going with the older horse? Don't always agree wtih you but you have some valid points.
Hillary base he lost 15%, was bigger until women understood McCain's position on freedom of choice. Latinos well I don't think Senator Obama will get the Cuban vote, so I see FL tough because Obama might have a tough time with Jewish vote. It is tighter then it should be. Cross over voters are showing their loyalty, by slamming doors. With that I believe Senator Obama needs to capture a big part of the Latino vote...and more hillary women supporters. -
...what?
