About Me
Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Brenda. I am the mom to 3
pretty great kids. They've pushed every button, pushed the envelope over
the edge at times, but in a time of crisis, my kids are always there for me,
always. I'm a mama bear when it comes to my kids even though the two boys
are big enough to more than take care of themselves, it's just an innate
instinct with me. My life so far, revolves around them, yeah, I know, I should
have a life of my own, and I will, when I know they're gonna be okay on
their own out in the world. But, I think I'll always have that mama bear
instinct,lol. I'm married, this is my second, and last! go around on the
marriage carousel, haha...but it hasn't been all bad, there's been tons
of good times. I live in Virginia and run a carpet and wood installation
business for about 22 years now. However, during this economic crunch, work is
slim pickings because nobody can afford to buy carpet nor wood. And we live
near some pretty exclusive gated neighborhoods. If you're a football fan,
you know who Marv Levy is, we did his home in one of those neighborhoods.
He's a great guy, gave us all kinds of collector stuff. For the most part
our customers in the gated communities are so much more nicer than most. My job
is okay, not really thrilled about it anymore, but it keeps me busy but I am
still trying to figure out what I wanna be when I grow up!!! LOL...I was once
a security guard at Busch Gardens and I also used to work at Fort Eustis.
I've worked at a hosptial, a florist, an electric motor company owned by
my father and uncle and I've been in one movie with Richard Gere and
Bruce Willis, which no one's probably heard of, hahaha...it was pretty
violent and people kind of shunned it...I thought it turned out to be a good
movie!! Also Sidney Poitier was in it. But I haven't won anymore
auditions, maybe because I've only tried out for about 3 other movies,
hahaha...but yeah, that's about it...I don't consider myself a
fascinating person, but I'm a good friend and a good listener. I
don't take no crap from anyone. I treat everyone however they treat me.
I can have a decent civil discussion without cussing and being mean and
hateful. Ilike to have fun, especially with politicians and a few other
'occupations' LOL...I'm here to meet new people, voice my
opinions, and just have some fun!!!

But sweetie, you have to know, your father was fighting some very strong demons, that is what made him take the overdose sweetie, not God. God loves you and He loves your father, I know God saw your daddy's pain, but maybe your dad just didn't know how to reach out to Him. God didn't kill your dad honey, God would never do that. The demons your father was wrestling with had a strong hold on him. We have to ask God to come into our lives and help us in these types of situations and because many of us here are praying for you and the rest of your family, He is watching over you, He has sent his angels to surround you and watch over you and help you through this most difficult time. Please know that God did not do this to your dad honey...He loves us all so much and cannot help us if we do not ask. So please ask God to help you right now and always be sure to thank Him for all the good things in your life, your mother, your brother, the rest of your family and friends...for every little thing be thankful and God will bless you in so many ways. He will help you through this because He loves you so much!

I am in complete agreement with this NASA employee, no employer has the right to tell their employees what events/holidays/causes they must attend unless it is business related. I do not see any connection with the LBGT Pride Month event and NASA. Where did this memo come from and who ordered it? I would more than likely be stepping on some pretty big toes to find out and get to the bottom of it and let my voice be heard on this one! (more)

I hate when I already know how something is going to end, lol. But, after reading an interview with Shonda Rhimes, she was asked if she knew who lived and who died, and she said yes, but that's not really the right question to be asking. Which tells me that either both Izzy and George die or they both live. Either is quite possible. Remembering how Meredith "saw" her mother pass away while Meredith was in a coma, tells me that George could've been seeing Izzy pass away via the elevator. Or if they were to both live, seeing how T.R. wanted off the show since his character's face was so badly mangled by the bus, they could replace him with someone that comes a little close to looking like "our George". And Izzy was never pronounced dead so she could be back too. Either way is possible, hey, it's Hollyweird, anything can happen! LOL
Edited to add: The "0-0-7" was George's nickname from the first season, I think it was Alex who gave him the "007" code name for "license to kill" when he almost lost or maybe did lose a patient. (more) -

Personally, I've thought for a long time that since a lot of people who get lung cancer have never smoked nor been around smoke that one is almost pre-destined to either get cancer or not. I don't believe half of the stuff the FDA comes out with, nor the NIH...especially the NIH!!!! I still smoke, I still drink my Diet Pepsi, however, I am cutting down on meats because i don't think it's really good for the body. I crave veggies and fruits anyways lol...and as for fur and animal hides, yeah, I don't see the need for them because of all the sheeps wool that is available and the cotton fields full for cotton fabrics etc....I can't stand cruelty and do not own nor wear anything of real fur nor hide, except for my 86 Jaguar which I bought off of ebay and didn't know it had leather seats. If I had the money I would certainly replace them with a faux leather seat. But for the most part, I agree with you!!! Wait til you see what they want to do with our electricity!!!! It's only going to get worse and worse with each stroke of the pen in obama's hand!!!! He is a traitor!!! A liar!!!! And Anti-American!!!
