It is amazing to me how far off things like this can be and how close they can seem when you know someone affected by them. Oh that the church of God would have a close fellowship so that persecution to the Body of Christ would always be strongly felt. J -------------------------------------------------- 'Dear (Ones,) Could you pray for my church back in China? On Nov. 1, Sunday, they had the very first time outside worship in front of a park gate, in the first snow of this year in (that part of China.) On the past Sunday, Nov, 8, they had the second outside worship at the same location. But the pastor was "arrested" by the policemen for three hours so that he could not go to the place to preach. One elder, a professor from University, preached without preparation. The government also shut down the church website and even the church name is becoming a sensitive name on Google and other searching websites. I called a brother back there and he told me that about 700 brothers and sisters were there. For many of them, when they left the house in the morning, they were stopped by the local community leaders who tried to persuaded them not to go to that place. But they were determined to go. During the worship some government-hired people were making loud noises by all means, including playing the drums. No violence there. Believers were very organized and mild. Also, I was told that all the church leaders were ready for the jail at any time. This brother also told me that he was a little afraid and nervous Saturday evening, but while standing there in that park he was totally peaceful, no fear at all. There are also some brothers and sisters from other house churches in Beijing. They were singing A Mighty Fortress Is Our God in Chinese version...' Much has been said in the past three to four decades about how the problem of EVIL in the world allegedly-disproves The Bible. However, the actual Burden of Proof rests with the Naturalist. The Bible repeatedly expects, shows, recounts, points to, and asserts that the world is, in fact, one very EVIL world. The Bible WARNS us to expect EVIL in the world! "No one does anything that is good. No even one person." (Romans 3:10, 23, my paraphrase) The Bible WARNS about the foolhardiness of atheism, which leads to all the rampant EVIL in the world today. "The FOOL says, 'There is no GOD!'" (Psalm 14:1; Psalm 53:1) The Bible WARNS us that humans who do that which comes naturally create a paycheck of EVIL, and The Bible promises that they will receive their DUE because they have earned it by all their natural efforts. "The wages of sin is death,..." (Romans 6:23a) NOW, al reves... The Naturalist, (many of whom claim to be evolutionists by their own admission,) alleges that the world has been evolving into greater and greater states of complexity and alleged-goodness for those mantra-esque alleged-"millions of years." However, it is more difficult for the Naturalist to convince the logical humans that GOOD should exist in a universe without any Moral Construct. Atheist woman, Madeline Murray-O'Hare, thought the country would be better off without GOD in the public square. So, she helped to remove Prayer from the public school classroom, and ended her life in suicide. Today, our country is the result of the terrible influence of one suicidal atheist woman... How SAD. :( However, she is the poster-child of Naturalism run rampant. :/ If the Cosmos is actually getting better (which it is not, cite Second law of Thermo-Dynamics,) how can we possibly ever prove that it has actually gotten better since the concept of GOOD is a transient euphemism without the bedrock of Absolute TRUTH to create ONE solid Point of Reference! GOOD is allegedly "that which works to the benefit of the largest percentage of the populace." Since environments are different the world over, physical constitutions are different the world over to adjust for climatic variances, and social mores are different the world over due to environment, tradition & history, the concept of GOOD cannot exist in a world that requires that GOOD equals to the benefit of the largest percentage of the world's populace, since the world's populace is still quite schismatic in a myriad of ways. Why then do Naturalists seem to know how to encourage the world's populace to express "Random Acts of Kindness," when kindness is an indefinable concept given the construct of Naturalism or Materialism? Could it be that even atheists KNOW down deep in their heart of hearts that they have indeed been created by ONLY ONE very GOOD GOD, Who has placed the definition of GOODNESS indelibly in their own hearts...because they never could have come to that concept on their own? Most likely... :) "GOD created Man in HIS own Image," (Genesis 1:26) and Man showed his rear-end by marring that perfect creation. Pastors who are faithful to The WORD of GOD, and who faithfully Preach The WORD, when it's popular and when it is not, have more lasting impact in the lives of other human beings than doctors, congressional representatives, dignitaries, even Presidents and Kings. The others have some value in this Life, but Pastors who are "worth their salt," guide us unto Everlasting LIFE! Of ALL humans that I have ever known personally, my Dad IS the Greatest! For more than four decades, Dad was not only my Dad, but also my Pastor, my Mentor, my Prayer Warrior, and my Friend. Fathers are the very first impression of the existence of GOD that any child ever has! If that Father is not there, or not there for that child, then the child begins to believe that GOD does not exist! If that Father is abusive, (either...verbally, physically, sexually,) then that child gets the impression that GOD is mean and abusive. However, if that man tries to be a good father (no matter how badly, nor often he may fail at it,) the child gets a good impressions of Who GOD is because even a child can tell that a human Dad can't be perfect. Yet, if he is willing to admit his mistakes and ask the child's forgiveness, then the child still gets the impression that GOD (Who IS Always Greater than Man) is the One Who initiates relationship between GOD and Man, not the other way around. Pastors shepherd their congregations in much the same way. If a pastor is "worth his salt," he faithfully preaches The WORD of GOD as TRUTH, no matter how many humans try to deny this FACT! If a pastor is "worth his salt," he admits his weaknesses, but always with the purpose of building-up the listener with the belief that "My pastor is human, walking on 'feet of clay' just as I am. That gives me HOPE to follow hard after GOD, and to walk faithfully with my pastor." If a pastor is "worth his salt," he preaches that the Church that Jesus Christ (Yeshua ha Meshiach) founded may be purified by preaching "Hell-Fire & Brimstone" messages in order to balance-out the high level of nauseating Grace-Only sermons that have made our country sick. If a pastor is "worth his salt," then he preaches for the purpose of making "dyed-in-the-wool wannabes" leave the church that some wannabes can get SAVED, and that the SAVED will get stronger! In this regard, Jesus, the Infinitely Greater, submitted Himself to providing for Man, the infinitely Inferior, for Man's own GOOD in an example to a wife of how she may receive ultimate victory in life by submitting herself, the consistently-more-skilled of GOD's two human creations, to her covenant-bond husband, who truly NEEDS her help and honestly KNOWS in his heart-of-hearts how unworthy he is of both her respect and her help.) ----------------------- "25 For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. (HE knows that you "get" concepts quickly...for HE created you.) The LORD expressed the responsibility of the husband in a long paragraph. (HE knows that HE created us to be visual. Ergo, HE paints verbal pictures for us that require many words.) A husband is to submit, to provide, to serve, his wife with love. This includes SEX, but since the wife has been created for emotion connection before SEX to the degree that the masculine sacrifice of emotional romance, intellectual communication, and respectful deference are the husband's submissive requirement toward his wife before the intimacy of SEX will do her even the slightest GOOD. ------------------------- "31 As the Scriptures say, 'A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.' 32 This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one. "33 So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect (i.e. reverence & revere) her husband." -------------------------- The reason that the Highest GOOD of human sexual fulfillment is permanently restricted to the three-way, spiritual covenant-bond between one man, one woman, and one Triune GOD, rather than any other classification of human intimacy, is that this is the only human illustration (albeit a terribly imperfect illustration) of the Unity found in The TRINITY, which brings satisfaction and fulfillment of purpose and design to all parts of the several whole. As has been said in a previous blog,... 1. The Wife is commanded to submit to (or to serve) her husband with respect and reverence, since that is the weakest part of the relationship (for both) when the focus is on the husband. 2. The Husband is commanded to submit to (or to serve) his wife with the love of emotional support, of physical protection, of interpersonal understanding, since this is the weakest part of the relationship (for both) when the focus in on the wife. Bottom Line: Any Distraction outside of the ONLY Divinely-ordained form of marriage that seeks to offer the fulfillment of a spouse in a way that substitutes for GOD's Sovereign Plan for the Highest Level of fulfillment that can only be gained with that covenant-bond spouse is SIN, a Crime Against Divinity! Specifically? When a wife seeks to get her emotional needs met by emotional liaisons other than her husband, then she is just as sinful as her husband is when he looks at pornography! Why? Wives often complain that pornography makes her feel ugly and lacking sexually. The thought expressed is often, "Am I not enough for you in this form of intimacy?" In the same way, a husband feels this very violation when his wife proliferates female friendships to the exclusion of heart-intimacy with her husband. The thought expressed is often, "DO you really think that I am so incapable of emotional intimacy that you prefer your girlfriends over me? Am I not enough for you in this form of intimacy?" Ezekiel 22 is a woeful and doleful speech originally give by The LORD to HIS Chosen People, ISRAEL, during one of their epochs of great WICKEDNESS. There are many parallels with modern AMERICA. Incestuous sex with his sister. " another in you violates his sister, his father’s daughter." Accusation #6 - Your Citizens Love Money and Reject GOD! A. Bribery & Murder: Choosing abortion for profit, and Death to opponents with Justice looks the other way. (The first part of this accusation has much precedence since 1973. Take Courage, O Israel! Though Messiah tarries long, HE will show HIMSELF to be swift when the transgressions of the Gentiles are FULL! Soon, the Man of SIN will proclaim Himself Lord of ALL the Earth, and HE WILL rebuild your temple FOR you. After doing so, HE WILL personally desecrate that temple by offering a pig on the altar (as did Antiochus Epiphanes,) but learn the lesson of Judas Maccabeus,...Trials precede Triumph, but THE Triumph of the long-awaited Messiah is as sure as Heaven and Hell (No matter what the tongues of the FOOLS may declare!
