As I don't own a TV, this little drama caught me off guard. Apparently, GE is setting up to make billions off cap and trade, which will only happen if Obama gets his way. Which leads to GE supporting Obama even to the point of calling it's own on air talent and rebuking them and "reeducating" them, and allowing hate speech to be aired over public airwaves.
I don't think I will be buying anymore GE products, certainly not a TV. ;-)

Straight up, I'm writing in Ron Paul. I have worked for and against both party's over the years, now I find no common ground with either. Both have reneged their oaths, both have burned the Constitution, both have failed my Country.
I do want change, and I will vote accordingly.

In some very real ways I am still living with my past. I have adopted some of her characteristics (i.e.; an unwillingness to commit wholeheartedly, the ability to walk away without a second glance, etc.), I consider it to be healthy, on the whole.
After many years of useless toil, the gig was up.

I look at people differently as well. Women are compared to her directly, men are compared in light of her mindset (those who would understand, comprehend). I know that all that glitters isn't gold, all who smile are not friendly, all who say the words do not love.
I know that most things people say are a lie, or a small truth used to cover a lie. Those who talk the most, lie the most. Simple, really.

Emotions. Romantic love is a rather new invention, on par with atomic weapons, imho. Those who would be a slave to their emotions are slaves indeed.

On the one hand, I regret having met her, loved her and having held her above all others. I regret having her teach me the true nature of mankind (as a whole) and myself (in particular).
On the other hand, living my life as a child, lost in an illusion, does not guarantee happiness nor success. I survived, and that in itself is an accomplishment. I do not regret having lost my innocence.

She taught me how to say "No", and for that I am grateful.

People who believe that the Constitution was written for a reason. People who believe tribalism should be left at the border of this Country. I am white, I am black, I am red. I am America

Sky diving, skin diving (haven't got certs 4 scuba YET), my job (those of you who do somewhat dangerous stuff to earn a buck might know what I mean...), speculative investing (just wetting my beak at this time, jump in by end of year once I learn more), loads of travel (am a Union Boilermaker and as such go all over the Country, don't have any deep appreciation for hotels and TSA can kiss my... you know, so that leaves me trucking a TT and scooter around)

People, oddly enough. Although I can be standoffish, I derive amusement and at times great joy just watching people.At times I laugh when I see myself in them,and at other times, am saddened when I see them in myself.

Politics. Don't ask me why, maybe I just like having dealings with people who believe themselves to be my morale, ethical, intellectual, spiritual and economic betters, thus setting themselves up as complete asses. It is entertaining, to say the least.

When I first joined SH I stated something to the effect that it may take the destruction of my Country to save my Country. The more understanding I garner about my "fellow Americans", the more true that statement becomes.
My talking, arguing and pleading with anyone who would give me the time of day has done absolutely squat.
Now I watch and wait. I will merely look my "fellow Americans" in the eye... the first one who starts to whine about how hard life is as a slave, how unfair life is, gets cold cocked.
