Should we just nuke the enemies of America?
Undecided
First, We have to live on the same planet as the rest of the world, which means whatever we nuke there will eventually reach us in radioactive particles in our air and water here. Second, it would betray our human rights values, because you can't just nuke the guilty ones if they are mixed up with the innocent ones. How many innocent lives are worth killing a few of the guilty? Third, the rest of the world would turn against us. Remember, every rogue nation that eventually became a world threat started out one piece of territory at a time until they had taken over the greater part of the world, so why would we be any different? If it worked once, we'd do it again and again and again -- every time we wanted something we couldn't get through diplomacy and negotiations. You can only cry wolf once before you guarantee that no one will come when the wolf really attacks. Likewise, pulling the nuclear option only works once (if that often), because the second time you do it, it becomes a pattern of behavior, and then the world rises up against you. -
Are you gonna watch and listen to Hillary tonight?(please NO mean comments)?
yes
Dick Morris finally says something that makes sense: It's a little like a movie that opens with flat ticket sales and bad reviews. Then the star they rejected for the lead role auditions and everyone wonders why she wasn't given the part.
