I voted for Barack Obama for one reason and one reason only:
I CAN TRUST THIS MAN!
With what he knew he would be facing from the general public while being the first black American president holding the highest office in this country is a monumental feat shared by no one before him. How can you not trust somebody who has a loaded public gun pointed at their head 24/7? He knows he has to produce ...like it or not! Because history will call him out and his children"s children will pay the price if he turns out to be ...ineffective! Thats why I trust him.

nobody can ever judge a president on the promises they they make during their campaign that dont happen. There are many promises that have been left behind in the dust. The simple reality is, that when the president gets into office, everything he wants to do has to go through congress first. So promising anything during a campaign is pretty much futile. You could get the smartest man in the world to run for president, but anything he does will also be based on the intellegence, wisdom, and corruption of congress. Untill congress is dismantled, a president will never accomplish the goals he sets forward in his campaign. Want results from "ANY" president, then vote in a new "working man" congress, instead of a bunch of rich snobs that does only what is in their best interest. I'm not siding with anyone on this, mainly because its really not always the pres's fault on how things turn out. However, he has made a few choices i disagree with, but also has made alot that i do agree with. that will happen with any president.

Never in a million years would I ever be sorry I voted for Barack, he is what we need to try to slow the excessive abuse we have suffered at the hands of the liars and cheats that stick it to middle America every day and then go home to thier overindulgent lives and think it's okay because they go to church on Sunday! I go to church too and I'm proud of a president that cares about the whole of this country and not because it makes me look good, no soap box just proud American grit!

Between an expensive stimulus package and questionable appointees, President Barack Obama may have kept the nation divided in controversy rather than uniting it. Now that the Obama has been in the office long enough to make some real changes, do you have any second thoughts about how you voted in the Presidential election? "

what a joke.

The question: "Do you regret voting for president Obama"? My answer: Are you mad? already in the short period of time President obama has been in office, he virtually restored the confidence of the global community in the capability of the United States to perform. The neocon nay-sayers should review the economic situation one year ago and determine for themselves when we were better off. With regards the horrific mess that vacuous fool bush created in the Middle East, this president is giving the situation the careful thought required his inane predecessor didn't. Unfortunately, our troops are still in harms way, thanks to former prez stupid. Domestically President Obama is attempting to rectify the issues that were ignored by the inept, incompetent group of miscreants that stole the office before him.

I have absolutely no regrets. President Obama has already done so much for the U.S. and for the world in his very short tenure. He made a signigicant contribution to controlling world population and poverty by recommitting the United States to supporting and funding the International Conference on Population and Development and by abandoning the Bush administration's 'gag rule' under the Mexico City Policy. He has improved our global image and has already made significant progress in improving severely damaged foreign relationships (i.e., with Russia) and forging important new diplomatic opportunities. Domestically, he is making unprecedented progress on health care reform and has put the U.S. on the right road in terms of tax policy, rebuilding infrastructure, stimulating green jobs and R&D; for alternative energy. His administration has reversed many of the steps the Bush administration took to remove environmental protections and President Obama has reinvigorated the EPA. He has accomplished so much in so little time and I am very proud our President and our country.
