About Me
I am the co-founder of SodaHead where I started this business with my Kindergarden best friend (fef, user number 2...right after that guy SodaHead who somehow got user number 1). Funny how life turns out. He and I are so similar and so different in many ways, and I think that is what makes our partnership perfect! So about me, without providing too much, I love being outdoors, whether it's hiking, taking walks, playing sports or going to a Dodger game and having a hot dog and beer....weekends are too short to be in doors all day. I definitely work hard and spend most my days and nights thinking about what users want in a site like SodaHead (so any suggestions, I urge you to message me or fef). I view building a successful business as just listening to what users want. You tell us what you want and assuming it makes sense, we will do it. Just like a restaurant, the better the customer service the more loyal your customers are. So besides work, I know how precious life is, so I will live it to the fullest!

Chat, good idea...personally I am on the fence with that.
We have some big changes coming up in the next couple weeks. We are revamping the news section and bringing on some pro writers to have more high quality original content with the SH spin. We are very excited about this. Also, if a user submits an article, we want their opinion on the article through a question or blog....not just an article link a la Digg. We are revamping Ask Question/Blog page and later in November we are redesigning the snapshot pages.
Community is our most important and valuable asset at SodaHead, so this is all part of an effort to provide users great content while also enhancing the social experience. Thanks for all your good input!!! (more) -

+3 raves I think it is very noble of her. Where she gets the energy or emotion I have no idea as she must... I think it is very noble of her. Where she gets the energy or emotion I have no idea as she must be feeling pretty horrible all day. I think the publicity gets her mind off her grave condition and she has raised awareness to cervical cancer like no other campaign in that country. As the article said, more people are now being tested than ever before. To the extent she can make some money for her family when she passes, all the power to her. I think that is wonderful! (more) -

I takes time to get used to for sure but you will notice some great improvements. First the site should be much much faster...that's worth it right there. lol. We also are trying to bring in the best most discussed content on the Internet to sodahead's discussion community. Trying to make it easier to find great content. Also, my concern is that the stimulus plan as a whole will be too later before all the money is spent. My view is that spend whatever necessary in the next 12 months, let's not wait 3 years. Would be cool to give more money for startups...i think that would be huge stimulus and foster the entrepreneur spirit! (more)

The width of the site before maintenance was more of an old style, SodaHead is just keeping up with the times and made the site wider. This way, users can fit more content on a page and fonts don't have to be soo tiny! We also reorganized and made better use of the space on this page...so we believe! Give it a few minutes and a little patience and I think you will like the wider site. (more)
