I'd like to meet

anyone who shares my beliefs and driven by that passion or if they don't share my beliefs, can debate amiably and as adults. Most of my friends are either, Republican, Progressives; Moderates or Extremes (with my extreme Repub buddies, we just don't discuss politics!)

Activities

active in a couple causes - don't really talk about it; was raised thinking that if you talk about good deeds, they cease to be good deeds (my Italian Dad was funky but loveable)

political news junkie (as if you couldn't tell already)
Baby, Siamese Cat; Joey, her brother Osecat/Abyssinian (3 yr olds)

Just about all types of music (except hard country).

Favorite TV Shows

Law & Order - SVU; and pretty much all the spin-offs (was disappointed when Vince D'Noffrio was taken out of L/O Criminal Intent)
Love Chris Matthews, Ed Schulz (although he can go a little too far left sometimes) Keith Olbermann (heard he's got a new gig now on Current Network - but I don't get that channel) Rachel Maddow; Daily Rundown (but not too crazy about Savannah Guthrie), the Good Wife (Great show) and I still miss the X-Files.

Favorite Movies

all Heath Ledger films; almost anything Sci-Fi; used to love Horror films, but now I get a little freaked watching unless it's daylight, sometimes even then it freaks me out.
Love 'Nothing to Lose' with Tim Robbins and Martin Lawrence; Pride & Prejudice w/Matthew McFaddeon, Jane Austen Bookclub w/Hugh Dancy, have seen 'Clueless' at least 10 times, the Hangover with Bradley Cooper (really funny), anything with Robt Downey Jr.,
Too many to mention - love to be entertained, funny, drama, or horror.

Favorite Books

Yes, I read the Twilight Saga's... not usually my style, but had to.
Love the older writings by Stephen King; you can read a page and just know what a good writer he was... he started to 'mass produce' his books and lost my interst.
Equal tastes of Fiction and Non-Fiction. Love to read but not enough time.

We were before my little break from SH. Before leaving I deleted a bunch of friends from my friends list because I didn't want my inactive icon on a bunch of lists. Anyway, that is why I had to ask you back. :) I'm sorry you had to do some "butt-whipping" in my honor. I'm so done with all that. I hope it wasn't anything too dramatic. Thanks for being a good SH friend! :)
