lol we left all the "official rules" behind long ago - our system has grown to become a very unique system, develoded since I was about 15 or so, from the input of everyone who's ever played with us on what made sense, what improved game play, what was just cooler lol
I'm gonna...
lol sad really - it's a wonderful release - and come on - it's like freaking putting yourself into a novel when it's done right, where else can you get that?
I'm gonna...
yes - it has many positive aspects. Many who've never played have given it a bad reputation - based upon entirely fictional accounts of things or based upon extreme examples of very very rare events - people tend to put a stigma on it and they don't even know anything about it - it's a GAME - like any other game it's purely meant to be fun lol - amazing how many just can't get that

Tell him I fully sympathize lol! That's cool though, you don't seem to meet too many people anymore who are willing to admit to playing. I don't know why, I credit d&d; with helping me to become a more outgoing person and to develop the skills that I use every day in sales. It encourages your creativity and strengthens interpersonal skills - and that's the name of the game in sales after all.

lol okay you had me right up until the whole not showering thing ;) lol ya - well it's not just the playing that takes forever, they want me to run it - and that takes a hell of a lot MORE time, i just don't know that i have the time to design anything at the moment. not that i don't always have a million ideas for things lol
I'm gonna...
ah i miss those days lol - i haven't done the d&d; thing in forever - just haven't had the time - some friends keep trying to get me back in - but for the time being i don't know if i can make the time for it.

Ya - comes with the territory. My long hours are why this store has gone from 13th in the district when I first came into it to number 2. (Number 9 in the region, which is 178 stores). Then throw in the fact that I'm currently training a completely new staff in order to improve on those numbers lol. And I prefer leading by example, so that means I have to put in the hours. So ya - in the average week I'm in the store anywhere from 62 to 75 hours. But again, it's okay - that's why I've stayed in the field for as long as I have, I love what I do. After all, that's what's important :) What about you guys, what've you been up to?
I'm gonna...
eh, it keeps me busy lol - I love it though. Feel like I LIVE in my store. :)
Hope
Thanks for the raves.
