I love to curl up with a good book or crossword puzzle when the house has gone to bed. Sometimes other people's words don't say enough so I put pen to paper and start writing......short stories, poetry, opinions, etc.
God has blessed me. I love my life!
I am the proud mother of 8, yes, I said 8, children. 4 boys and 4 girls. Their ages range between 2 years old and 17. I also have 2 step children ages 18 and 20 and my stepdaughter has given us 2 beautiful grandchildren.
I love to play with my kids.....keeping one step ahead of them on the crazy meter is what keeps me young. Believe me, I can stay at least one step ahead of them.....

Singing is basically a required activity in my house. It doesn't have to be good it just has to be fun.

I enjoy meeting people and listening to their stories.....we all have our
own stories to tell and our own unique way of telling them. I find it all so very interesting. I believe that there are lessons to be learned from others and their experiences in life.

Interests

Reading, writing, I enjoy a day out on the delta, just cruisin' in the boat while the rest of the fam fishes or swims.We love to swim, waterski and kneeboard.
I am a stay at home mom....My dream job. I always wanted to stay at home with my children and feel blessed to have that opportunity.

Whenever my Tennessee Titans are playing I can usually be found glued to the television. I don't watch much baseball, prefer to listen on the radio. Then I listen to the Minnesota Twins. I love that team!
My household seems to prefer the Kings when it comes to basketball but I am always the different one...I can be found rooting for the San Antonio Spurs.

Hmmmm.....You should see my ipod playlist! Honest to goodness, there's a little bit of everything. Guaranteed to have at least one song you like and one you hate. Now that's Fair and Balanced if you ask me.

Favorite TV Shows

I have an unnatural addiction to C-SPAN....On a good day the television will be on C-SPAN all day, volume up so I can hear it no matter where I am or what I am doing.....I do believe my family thinks I am a bit off my rocker....Oh well, let 'em think!
I can find myself glued to the Discovery Channel or the History channel.....

Favorite Movies

Who would believe me if I told them I love to watch Pulp Fiction? Have that entire movie memorized....don't know why but it is the best movie Quentin Tarrantino ever made, IMHO. I also love A Knights Tale and Chicago.....

Favorite Books

Anything written by Thomas Sowell. I love the way that man's mind works! Always a good read with him!
