About Me

I have hurt people and I have hurt myself.

I have helped people and I have helped myself.

I have been a bad man and I have been a good man.

I am what I am. I'm a human being with flaws that I accept.

I do not believe that I am any better than anyone else out there.

I'm a man who doesn't waste time trying to be good or bad. I am content to exist with an equilibrium of both aspects of my personality.

I was not born with the knowledge of good and evil, but I learn through each mistake I make and I believe that's what makes me an intelligent person. My parents taught me well. They gave me enough guidance to be able to figure things out for myself and for that, I am forever grateful.

I'm a very open-minded person with many ideas, but very few beliefs. Beliefs are a lot harder to change, once they become a core part of who you are. Ideas can be added to, adapted, replaced or rethought at any time as new things are learned and experienced. People who have strong beliefs, whether religious or philosophical, are not always open-minded and can sometimes be too rigid and incapable of change and a reed that won't bend in the wind, will always break. The thing most people forget is that change is easier to accept when it is gradual. If you try to change someone in an instant, you will always be met with resistance and it becomes a battle of wills and an exercise in futility.

When I think of our souls, I think that that part of us that exists beyond the physical is just as likely to have always existed, as it is likely to have been created. I think life has always existed in one form or another and maybe our spiritual sides are eternal and as each physical universe comes and goes with it's initial manifestation and eventual end, we simply move along with the flow of time and take shape as whichever life each universe can provide, never having a beginning and never having an end.

I think that there is a constant amount of life that belongs within our planet's ecosystem and as our species grows too large for the ecosystem to be able to sustain us, it's pretty much inevitable that other species will die out, become extinct and the ecosystem is affected with things like Global Warming and the hole in the Ozone Layer. Nature gets thrown a curve ball that it can't deal with and it won't be long before we go the way of the Dodo as a result.
